| The puppies are doing so well. Today is so beautiful out that I am leaving them on the porch for the day...they are making such a mess inside! They even jumped over the whelping box barrier during the night and were all cuddled up on the quilt in front of the box this morning. I really couldn't believe they made it over this 1 foot wall! They get a little upset being outside, but it's only because they still aren't super used to it. Mom and Molly are out there with them giving them comfort. They are drinking water and eating moist puppy food now and still nursing when Scarlett lets them. Their personalities are definitely coming out. Honey is just the most social and always the first to come running to me when I'm around. Wade is a big baby and loves to sit and pout when he doesn't have his way! Bonnie is very adventurous and brave and leaves the group more often than the rest. Ella is a little princess and is like Wade in that she doesn't like to be alone and just loves attention. Careen reminds me the most like Scarlett color and look-wise and she is just a sweetie as well. Mel is also a lap puppy and loves my affection. They are all getting very adapted to human interaction and love to see me in the morning. I wish I could keep them all ! |
