| Poppy has had about 9 months training and is super smart and willing to please. She is calm enough for a child to ride or a beginner-intermediate rider but has zip when needed. She has been taken all over the hills and nothing phases her. She doesn't have any bad habits and is just a joy to be around. Although she is behind for the futurities next year, she has the potential to catch up if put into training. She wants to stop, steps around nicely, picks up leads from a stop and backs fluently. She is very light on her feet and moves extremely well off of my legs. I took her out to Ted Robinson's one month ago and we worked the mechanical cow, and then real cows out of the herd, and she is SUPER cowy and even Ted thought she is quite a talented horse. I haven't had one latch on so intensely in many years! It won't take her much to catch up. She doesn't have any bad habits and is super quiet to be around.
